More about my approach

I believe in putting principles before protocols, and embracing the creative and relational dance of therapy while also being guided and grounded by solid neurobiological frameworks.

Most of us don't get the education we need in graduate school to feel comfortable working with Complex Trauma, and it can be overwhelming and confusing to navigate all the different trainings and theories out there. My goal with my work is to deliver comprehensive, complex and deep education on neurobiology informed trauma therapy in a way that feels truly accessible, supportive and applicable. My favorite thing is supporting therapists in really understanding their own learning edges with this work, and providing integrative and focused support to fill those gaps.

I started out as a new therapist learning everything I could about Complex Attachment Trauma and bottom up modalities for healing. I knew I was drawn to more depth oriented, relationally grounded and experiential ways of processing trauma. This led me to discovering Somatic Therapy, Parts Work, AEDP, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Coherence Therapy and the underlying transformational process of Memory Reconsolidation. I blend all of these frameworks in the way I work with clients and support clinicians in their learning.

Therapy is both an art and a science. As therapists we engage in a sacred, co-creative and relational dance with clients. I embrace a non-manualized, highly individualized and fluid approach to therapy which can still be guided and contained by strong neurobiological concepts and theoretical frameworks. My goal is for you to feel empowered to practice in a way that feels authentic and alive for you and makes room for the full individuality of you and your clients, while also feeling grounded and supported by solid principles of transformational change and brain-science.
